Hello, myself and Daniel Metroka are writing this in support of a close friend and colleague, Olivia Jackson, who has recently been diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism—a condition where the thyroid gland is overactive, causing metabolism to speed up to an alarming degree. This has led to a series of severe symptoms for Olivia, including a dangerously high resting heart rate, dizziness, daily headaches, and overwhelming fatigue. The diagnosis came after a thyroid storm, a medical emergency that required urgent care and hospitalization. The intense nature of this condition has not only impacted Olivia's health, but also her financial stability.

Due to the nature of this condition, Olivia will also have to see a specialist regularly for the rest of her life. These appointments typically cost $400 a session which is currently far beyond her reach.
