Help Eliseo's Children

Pastor Eliseo of Santiago, Cuba is persistently pursuing further medical treatment for his three children by bringing them to the US to receive much needed medical attention at the Miami Children's Hospital.
A lot has been done thus far and God has opened many doors! Here is what has happened up to this point.
•Dr. Robert Lerer from The University of Cincinnati of the Medical Center of the Infant Hospital of Medicine evaluated Samuel and Elionay while on a faculty exchange in Cuba and wrote a letter on their behalf to help them obtain more assistance.
•Joe Garcia, a Member of Congress, in Florida’s 26th District has also written a letter on their behalf.
•Visa's have been obtained for the family to travel to the U.S.
•The Ronald McDonald House has space available for the family to stay while they are seeking treatment.
•Appointments have been secured through Global Health at the Miami Children's Hospital for June 23!

(My name is Sherri Selby. Last summer God opened an opportunity for me to be able to travel to Cuba to meet, encourage and pray with several churches and local Pastors. During a visit to Santiago, Cuba I was able to meet with Pastor Eliseo Seme and his family. Pastor Eliseo ministers to his community with a heavy focus on leaving the “church walls” to reach the lost. The church was devastated when the last hurricane came through and has been supported by New Jerusalem Baptista Church (a Hispanic church plant connected with my church-Hunsinger Lane Baptist). He and his wife graciously welcomed me into their home. It was there that I was able to see and hear firsthand the challenges that he and his family face.)
