Help Mom come HOME

At the beginning of November my mom, Juanita tested positive for covid. Within a week she developed breathing issues and went into the ER. They told her that nothing was wrong, and that she just needed to let the virus run its course. But when she came home, she only got worse. Her breathing became harder to do and she looked completely different! She could barley walk and couldn't eat or drink. We took her into Urgent Care on November 17th. They immediately said she needed to be put in an ambulance (even though she was next door to the hospital and that was a $2500 bill we already received), and rushed over to St. Mary's. She was admitted and we were told we were lucky we brought her in when we did. She was then placed on a BiPap and we were told she'd be on it for a few days because her oxygen was extremely low.
Unfortunately, it wasn't getting any better and they had to intubate her and put her in an induced coma. She's on medications for her blood pressure and the ventilator was at a 40%.
Thanksgiving was the first night we were able to see her and her see us. She was awake!! She was now at a 30% on the ventilator (lower, the better!).
They began the breathing trials which means they'd see if she could breathe on her own without the machine. On Saturday night, my mom extubated HERSELF! She was put on a BiPap again and she was doing good. We had a lot of hope that the worst was behind us....
Unfortunately she had to be re-intubated and placed in another induced coma again the next morning. Too soon mama...she tried.
So as of now, she's still intubated and has been moved to a hospital down the hill. The next steps in her recovery are unknown at the moment, but i will be updating on here as often as i can.
We FINALLY get to visit her soon!!!!!!!!
I am starting this so that we can pay the extra medical bills that her insurance does not cover, and her bills at home in the mean time. She has ran out of her sick pay from work so we just humbly as for any help we can get during this time. Anything at all is GREATLY appreciated! And all the prayers and calls/messages we've received have not gone unnoticed and we are telling my mom about every one of you.
Please donate or SHARE if you can, but most importantly,
PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR HER!
She is literally, without a doubt, the best human i know. She would do anything for the people she cares about, and now its our turn to do the same.
