I want to first start by thanking everyone that took the time to read my uncles story. My name is Danea, niece of Kavin Gathing, who along with his roommate was tragically murdered New Year’s Day. No one seems to know anything as to why this happened, given the fact that my uncle bothered no one and was loved by the people in his community. Unfortunately my uncle did not have anything in place to cover home going expenses for himself, and my family hasn’t been able to come up with much, thus why I made the decision to create a GofundMe.
