Gavin Foth was severely injured in an ATV accident on September 10, 2017. He had an eight hour surgery on his spine after getting off the helicopter in Bozeman, Montana. They put a cage into his neck to hold the discs in place. He also broke 8 ribs, has two holes in his lungs and bleeding on the brain. He now has feeling in most of his body and is working hard to get movement back.

Gavin got to  Craig Hosptial in Denver September 27th and is going to be until February 14th.  Gavin’s mother, Kortney, is living their with him and his Dad, Matt is going to be there as much as possible while still managing his Potato Farm back home. He has been learning to talk with the trachea tube in and breathing on his own. He is finally learning how to swallow again and can have water and ice chips. He will soon take another swallow test to see if he can start to eat food again. He’s also working on movement in his arms especially the right arm with his physical therapist everyday.

Gavin played on the Three Forks football and basketball team, and was a state runner for track as a freshman. He is a humble, hard working athlete.  Gavin also has a passion for the outdoors and loves backing packing in the mountains. He loves being on the boat with his family, wakeboarding and surfing. He is an amazing young man with a long road ahead!

Thank you for your support. Gavin and his family appreciate it!
