Flying Trapeze in La Ventana

The Plan

To fundraise & purchase a flying trapeze, set it up in La Ventana and share the joy of circus through classes & shows!

Both Mexican and American staff are trained and ready to go. I have a space reserved as well as a backup location. The trapeze structure itself is already located in Los Cabos (only two hours away) and ready to be installed. I will transport the trapeze rig to La Ventana, set it up for morning & evening classes. The community will be provided with entertainment through student performances, amazing professional fly shows and the ability to watch classes.

Where I need your help: funding to purchase the trapeze.

The goal is $10,000 US dollars in donations.

As a reward plan for donations, I have arranged the following.

1. $30 recieve a 2 hour class on the Flying trapeze.

2. $100 gets you a high Quality (limited Edition) cotton tee shirt with our logo as well as a 2 hour class on the Flying trapeze.

3. $200 gets our t shirt and 5 classes on the Flying trapeze

$500 gets our t shirt and a season pass on the flying Trapeze.

5. $1000 gets our t shirt and a lifetime membership to the Flying trapeze.

The trapeze will be opening this season (2022-23) to fulfill these rewards. Classes will also be open to the public with class times for both adults and children. Please consider donating at any level. If the fund doesn't reach $14,000 I will return all donations and will not buy the trapeze this year.

The Reason

Flying on the trapeze is an empowering activity for children and adults alike. We learn things like courage, strength and determination from flying on the trapeze. We learn to balance power and grace. We understand when to explode and when to be patient. We gain focus while being physically and emotionally challenged. It is also an exercise in trust. Trust in your own abilities as well as trust in your flying partner, who will catch you as you fly from one trapeze to another. We overcome fears and learn to trust in other humans. It's also incredibly fun!

About me

I have been teaching circus arts for over 25 years and i have specialized in teaching Flying Trapeze.

I arrived in La Ventana 7 years ago and fell in love with the place. There are an amazing amount of things to do, not only in the water, but on land and in the air as well. It is surely a reflection of the amazing community of people who come to this place.

After discovering my future home, I immediately started teaching circus classes at the local bar. Since that first year, I have united with other circus artists and we have been putting on FREE Circus shows every season as "Circo de La Ventana" for the whole town to enjoy. The first year was incredible. We had classes all season and a small circus show at the end of the season and the town went wild! They loved the energy we brought to the community. We have grown stronger and better each year since that first show seven years ago and we now have a group of children from our classes that perform with us in our shows. The Flying Trapeze is our next step in sharing our passion of Circus arts with you all.
