Help the King Family

On Saturday the 20th of February a tragic car accident occurred that will forever change the future of the King family. Archie (12), Seth (11) and Neil (48) were involved in the accident. Neil and Seth were air lifted to hospital in Sydney. Unfortunately Archie, an aspiring young footballer who had only just started year 7 at the Central Coast Sports College passed away at the scene of the accident.
Seth, the youngest of the family, who is year 6 in another local primary school on the Central Coast, received emergency treatment at hospital and thankfully was released a few days later and is recovering well from his physical injuries.
Neil, father of the family, has not faired so well and is still in a critical condition in hospital. The next few weeks will be crucial for Neil to know the full extent of his injuries and his possible recovery.
Archie was a lovely young boy, full of life, who was passionate about all things football. Having recently being selected to play within the Central Coast Mariners Academy -- and having grown up playing with local club Terrigal United and his younger brother playing for Central Coast United -- this tragic news has sent a big shockwave through not only their close family network, but their schools and football communities too.
Now is the right time to come together as a community and do what we can to support the King family during this very tough time.
Alanna, the mum this family, is normally the rock that provides support for so many people (and having worked as a nurse for the majority of her working life), she has always been there to help others. With much reluctance, we have convinced Alanna to accept our support via this online fund raiser as a small gesture that we can hopefully all contribute to.
Although money can never fill the void of this tragic loss, we know that the coming months will be very hard for the family as they navigate through grief, recovery and an uncertain future. Please give as generously as you feel you can, to alleviate some of the financial pressure for the King family in the immediate term.
Our ongoing thoughts and deepest condolences remain for are the King family.
