Finally getting Top Surgery

Hello! My name is Nate and I am asking for help from anyone willing and able to cover my bills from surgery and while I am taking time off to heal. I will be staying in Minneapolis while I recover so it will also be extremely helpful to have money to put towards groceries too. To top things off, my windshield got really badly cracked last week and it ended up being $400 I didn't have to get it fixed. Things like that have popped up across the last decade and that is a lot of why this has taken so long for me to get to this point.

This is a fundraiser for my oldest friend Nate. He's family to me, a man with a heart so big we are constantly begging him to be selfish for even one second. He has saved my life more times than I can count. He helped me move out of Fargo, helped me get hormones, helped me talk through my early transition, and helped name me.

Nate helped me come out as trans and guided me through everything. He found a surgeon in Minneapolis and got his own consult years before I even moved here, but was financially unable to make surgery work for himself. The legwork he did enabled me to get top surgery from the same surgeon he had researched. Nate has been waiting to get this surgery for over a decade.

He's finally got his surgery date scheduled and it's coming up quick. He is booked for Feb 21st, more than 12 years since he came out to his friends and family. This man deserves the quality of life that top surgery will provide him. I can't tell you enough how many other people he has mentored or advised on their journeys or what an incredible person he is or how gentle his heart is or how deserving he is. Please please help my friend with his surgery and life expenses. I can't help financially as much as I had planned to, so we are turning to community.
