Willow the Warrior

Hi, I am putting this together for my sister Tara and her family. At 20 weeks pregnant she was diagnosed with placenta accreta syndrome. This occurs when all or part of the placenta attaches abnormally to the muscular layer of the uterine wall. There are 3 grades of it. Tara's went from grade 1 accreta to grade 3 percreta in four short weeks. On September 28th, she woke up with abdominal pain and couldn't walk as well as going in and out of consciousness. She was transported to the emergency room and upon her arrival there, they did an ultra sound where it was found that she had blood swarming around in her stomach. Tara had to have emergency c section to save her daughter Willow. Due to life threatening bleeding, afterwards, she had to have a hysterectomy. Both Willow and my sister made it out alive but still have a long road to recovery. Willow was transported to a Level 3 NICU about 40 minutes away from my sister and her family. She will be there until at least mid January getting the care she needs to grow and be strong enough to come home. Tara is a stay at home mom to two other children, and their dad is a roofer putting in all the hours he can on top of taking care of Tara while she heals and their children. I am making this fundraiser in hopes to help out the medical bills that are already swarming in. Any donation is appreciated and not too small. Please share!
Thank You!
