Take a child to school

Hi, my name is Juli and since three years I live in Uganda. Togehter with my husband I work for a German organization called “PMCO ”.

Here’s our story and why we fundraise: 

Aisha is 9 years old and lives with her 5 siblings and her grandma in this tiny shack.

The next well is 2km from their home, they don’t have electricity in their community.

The grandma is the only breadwinner and has to take care of all her 6 grandchildren.

Ever since Aisha’s family became part of PMCO they received support in the areas of health care, sensitization programs, food supplies AND ACCSESS TO EDUCATION for all the 6 kids by sending them to local village schools - BUT… 

In January 2023 we want to open our first PMCO Primary School for the 75 kids in our care and other community kids - to be able to make sure these little ones get quality education and grow up in a beautiful, child-friendly environment!

Our school motto: Education for Transformation!

Our goal is to raise 15.000€ to be able to pay for a starter package for all our 75 kids, which includes a school uniform, a desk and all the scholastic material (200€ per child) so they can start school in January 2023!
