Costa Rica Camps International Expedition 2024

Hi! My name is Dougie and I am a year 10 student at Sidmouth College. This summer I have the amazing opportunity to travel to Costa Rica for 4 weeks after I break up for the school holidays. This expedition will involve community and conservation work, which will benefit the local people and wildlife, including the chance to learn to scuba dive with marine life! Hopefully, this will also help me to develop my qualities like teamwork and communication as well as teaching me about important global issues.

To raise funds, I have been doing various jobs such as paper rounds, car washing, cake sales and helping out my local community. I will also be cycling the width of Costa Rica (120km) over the Easter holidays to help raise the rest of the money and would really appreciate your support.
