Oistad House Fire Fund

June 22nd, 2019 we were supposed to finish moving into our new home but we were instead woken up to calls it was on fine. The garage, family room and entry way were destroyed along with most of our belongings. We had moved over everything but the bare minimum so as you can imagine we lost most of our stuff. There are holes in almost every rooms of the house, bused out windows and doors and extensive smoke and water damage.
A man was arrested in connection with the fire at our home (just a random act of violence) and charges are pending. We cannot start rebuilding anything until all departments are finished with their investigation. So for now we wait, we are in an apartment for the time being and are unsure of when things will start moving forward.
We are lucky we are safe and together but any help is greatly appreciated.
