Helping Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse and Trauma

In April 2024, I'll be running the London Marathon for a cause dear to my heart. One in Four, established in 1999 by the legendary Irish advocate Colm O'Gorman, himself a survivor of clerical sexual abuse, stands as a beacon of hope and healing for survivors of abuse and trauma. One in Four specialises in supporting childhood survivors and current survivors of sexual violence, domestic violence, abuse, and trauma.

Over the past few years, my role as a psychotherapist has allowed me to witness incredible transformations through our dedicated support and counselling. The experience of working at One in Four has deepened my commitment to this work and inspired me to contribute further by running this marathon. Your donation empowers One in Four to continue offering specialised one-to-one therapy, group work, and comprehensive training for professionals to better understand and address the long-term effects of childhood trauma.
