At the Kirk Franklin concert!
The goal of this fundraiser is to help send us on a mission trip to Philadelphia  with our youth group at New Century Church.

My name is Ashley Byers and I'm 17 years old. I am adopted, and as a child I never fully understood what that meant. I was in the 8th grade when my life took a turn for the worst, I started drinking, partying, and smoking and I questioned my worth as a human being. I had many questions about my biological family  that didn't have any answers. This caused rebellious behavior towards my adoptive mother and she did nothing to deserve it. I was sent to multiple group homes, juvenile detention centers, and behavioral health meantal institutions, all between the ages of 13-15.I have been a Christian for  2 years and my life has changed for the best! Giving my life to Christ was the best decision I've ever made!

Hello, my name is Lakeem Momoh.  I am also 17 years old. I became a Christian at the age of 15 at Camp Eagle. I honestly didn't start living the Christian life until last year, when I was introduced  to a weekly bible study that was held on Saturdays. My life before Christ was  a roller coaster! I was living home to home and living with other people because my mom didn't have enough money to keep us stable . Through  all of this, God was showing me that I needed to trust in him rather than leaning on my own understanding. As soon as I started going to bible study,  it hit me! I say that because I felt the urge to live more like Christ. I was coming to bible study for my friends in the beginning, but the more I went, I realized this was God calling me closer to him. My life as a christain NOW, I would say it's an 8 out of 10.  I now understand a lot more than I did, and I'm not perfect but seeing how my friends love God, makes me strive harder and harder to become more like Christ so others can see him working in me . My life with Christ has been hard, but it was even harder before I found God.

Hello, my name is Jasmine Martin and I'm 17. I've been a christian for two years now, and my life has been like no other. Growing up I went to church but I never understood the  true meaning of what church was about.  As I got older I completely stopped going to church and my life just went downhill from there. In my early teenage years I began to do what the world was directing me to do ,which was party, drink, and smoke. I compelled to homosextuality and that at the time was my identity. Also, I never respected my dad or any authority around me, and that damaged me & my fathers relationship. One day I was invited to go to Acts 2 and I went, on the way there I had a feeling I was going there for a reason and that night I gave my life to Christ, every since then my life has gotta tremendously better, God has lifted me from the devil deeds, but I'm not saying being a Christian is easy but giving my life to Christ has been the best decision I've ever made!

God is real. God is love. And if it weren't for God's grace, who knows where we would be? We cannot thank our youth groups and family enough for the endless time, effort, prayer, and love they invested in us.

Please help us as we strive to live out our dream. Every penny counts!

They made it their mission to not give up on kids like us, and we're making it our mission to help those who feel like they've been giving up on.
