Kylo’s Emergency Surgery

Hello! Those of you who know SammyB may very well know his very close companion and dog Kylo. He’s almost always with him whenever Sam is at the PaddleHeads office for work, the baseball field, in the mountains, on the river, or even on the slopes. Kylo is Sam’s absolute best friend and number one adventure buddy. They are inseparable. He’s had him since he was a puppy, and Kylo is now 6. If you know how energetic and welcoming Sam is, Kylo only multiplies that when he’s with him.

Unfortunately, Kylo got hit by a car this morning in Missoula. He was badly injured and taken to a local veterinary hospital. X-rays show that Kylo has a broken pelvis and will likely need his tail amputated. He was taken into emergency surgery today. Needless to say this will be not only an expensive procedure but also an extensive recovery process for both Kylo and Sam.
