Support PrideStaff Asheville in Post-Storm Recovery

PrideStaff, Inc. (www.pridestaff.com) has started a relief fund for its Asheville office location to aid in recovery efforts after Hurricane Helene.

Hurricane Helene has left a lasting impact on the Asheville community, and our local staffing and recruiting office is no exception. Their team has worked tirelessly to support their field associates and clients as they navigate the aftermath of the storm, but many are still facing significant challenges. We're reaching out for your help to provide much-needed relief to those affected.

Several of PrideStaff Asheville's temporary employees have suffered tremendous losses. Two field associates lost everything when their apartment flooded. Though they’ve secured temporary housing and are looking for a new place to call home, they are still in need of basic essentials to rebuild their lives. One employee lost their house entirely and has since relocated, while many others are struggling to regain stability. Despite weeks passing since the storm, several of our clients remain closed or unable to fully reopen, leaving nearly 20 employees without consistent work or income.

Though the team in Asheville has assisted their employees with essential items and information on disaster unemployment assistance, the road to recovery is long. That’s why we’re launching this GoFundMe campaign—to provide critical financial support to those who need it most. Funds raised will help our Asheville office's affected employees cover essential expenses like groceries, bills, household items, and lost work supplies.

The Asheville office is also facing operational challenges, including the loss of water and internet services, which has made it difficult to run day-to-day operations. They’ve found temporary office space to process payroll and ensure field associates are paid, but they are working hard to restore normalcy for their team. With your support, we hope to ease the burden on their team as well as help their employees get back on their feet.
