Heidy’s Brain Surgery and Recovery
Donation protected
Hi I’m Danielle, Natalie my sister and Freddy, my brother are all raising funds for our incredibly hard working and extraordinary mother, Heidy. We received the most frightening call on Monday. Our mom was having a brain hemorrhage, it was critical. We were told she was being transported immediately to Lenox Hill Hospital because left untreated even for the slightest bit of time could result in paralysis or death. They ran many tests and sent many videos about her condition. They learned that she not only had one aneurysm, but two. One had ruptured and that was the one they would perform surgery on. On the morning of her surgery, my siblings and I nervously awaited the news. The thought of her on a table undergoing extensive brain surgery for 5 hours was almost too unbearable. How had our lives made a 180 degree turn in a split second? How could our outgoing, beautiful, talkative mother not be able to speak anymore? When the incredible surgeons and their team finished they assured us everything went well and she’s doing just fine but this begins a long slow recovery process. This put smiles on our faces and happy tears down our cheeks. Our mama bear was going to be okay. Although this was great news, the thought of monetary struggles for post recovery was daunting. We are beyond blessed that she is in such good hands and is the strongest person we know. We would appreciate it if you could consider donating to help her surgery and post recovery. Every little bit helps her in every way. Thank you all so much!
