The Mama Fund
Donation protected
Hey friends my name is Kalki Ortiz, and for those of you who don't know, I'm a huge mamas boy- basically the epitome of one. I didn't make my bed or know how to do laundry until I moved out at 20 years old and it's all her fault. If she wasn't such a good mother, I never would've become so helpless. I've been blessed with this bad luck I suppose.
So how do you think I felt when I heard the most important person in my life was diagnosed with Lymphoma? My family's world, like many other families has been turned upside down overnight. And like most we weren't prepared, so I'm creating this fund to help out.
Last year she graduated from school (we are extremely proud of her!) and has been working as a care aid. She's had to stop for obvious reasons. So this money is also going to cover living costs, treatments and maybe a nice Hawaiian vacation for her once this is all over. She's up for some very heavy treatments over the next year and will be exploring many different kinds of medicine/options. We are going to try anything and everything.
About my Mama:
She's been hailed by friends as "the most graceful woman ever"
she's beautiful,
very classy.
she's selfless,
a total hippie.
She's
dedicated
strong
funny
kind
spiritual
loving
generous
and
a brilliant cook.
She's the worlds cutest person (see picture above ^ )
and pretty much the best person on the planet.
Thank you all so much for the love and support. We are eternally grateful for your generosity.
Love and light,
from the Ortiz family.
