Sponsored Silence

Every year during Sponsored Silence, we hope to raise awareness for the d/Deaf community by staying silent for a period of time and communicating mostly in sign.

We are aiming to fundraise in order to continue subsidising accredited course placements for new society members at Deaf Action, the local Deaf charity in Edinburgh.

All donations/sponsorship mean a lot to us, as it means we as a society can continue to send committed and engaged students on these courses at Deaf Action, and spread more awareness for those who sign.
