Robbie Crane

Greetings, friends. My name is Marty Hage. I teach chemistry at the University of Northwestern-Saint Paul. Dr. Daniel R. Crane is a colleague of mine, who also teaches chemistry. More importantly, he is a very dear friend of mine. Since early December 2022, his oldest child, Robbie Crane, has been hospitalized at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN. Robbie has been diagnosed with Crohn's disease, which is incurable. It took some weeks to accurately diagnose this following surgery to clean out a massive infection and obtain a sample for biopsy. This entire ordeal is holding up the completion of Robbie's college graduation requirements. After recovery from surgery, he was sent home in early January 2023. However, after a setback this week, Robbie was readmitted to the hospital. Tests and scans are being conducted to determine exactly what the problem is. Since the ordeal began, Robbie has been in a great deal of pain and has lost more than 30 pounds, which he could ill afford to lose. Pain medication has some serious side effects, one of them being constipation, which is making pain management rather challenging. At this point, the Crane family is exhausted and perhaps rather discouraged, due to the recent setback. This is an opportunity for family and friends to bless Robbie and the rest of the Crane family by showing them how much we love them, which will be a great encouragement to them. The funds will be used to defray the costs of his treatment and recovery over and above the deductible of the health insurance. If all goes well, Robbie will have a long recovery, perhaps two months or more. On behalf of the Crane family, thank you, thank you, thank you. May God bless you and reward you richly as only He can.
