Help a Family Avoid Homelessness
Donation protected
This is my story. My wife and I have three kids. We used to rent a nice farmhouse at the time. My grandfather got sick, and we were going to put a modular home out on his land so we could be close and take care of him, but then his cancer progressed even faster. Instead of spending money on a new home, he said to move into his home after he passed, and that it would be signed over to me because it was in my mom's name. So, I agreed. We moved in.
6 1/2 years later, my mom and I have been in court. I have no leg to stand on since I did not get anything in writing and it is in her name. I have until June 15 to vacate the property. I work every day. I try to be a good man and provide for my family. I would’ve never thought my own mother would be putting her son, grandchildren, and my family out on the street. I've tried to get a loan, but I just never had credit. If I couldn’t afford it, I didn’t buy it. I do not know what to do. I’ve never asked for help before, but I’m asking now. I can’t let my family be homeless. I am running out of time and options. Thank you for your time and have a blessed day.
