Anthony’s funeral

Donation protected
My name is Marlene White and I wanted to share the story of my son Anthony Ojeda. This has not been easy to share but I want everyone to know his story. My son Anthony has been battling polycystic kidney disease his entire 18 years of life. My son has endured over 100 surgeries in his time of being here including a kidney transplant and multiple reconstructive surguries and through it all he has been the strongest warrior I know. Throughout his fight I have wanted to be by his side 100% to make sure he is safe, comfortable and getting the best care he deserves. My sons sickness has limited his daily life activities and has demanded on site care and of course I felt it best for me to be present at all times. Doing so I have had to make the choice to leave the days of employment so I could be present at all time throughout dialysis, surgeries and appointments. While still caring for Anthony’s 3 sisters and new born niece. This has been one of the toughest battles we have been through as a family. Tony has always been a light to anyone he has met. He can make anyone laugh with his comedic ways. He loves basketball (the okc thunder of course) and other players such as James Hardin and steph curry. He loves listening to his favorite artist like post Malone and Bruno mars and loves to play video games and spending quality time with his family. Even through the tough battle he has been through Tony has always been the most thoughtful and compassionate young man, taking time to check in on loved ones and send motivational messages to help uplift others. He has now come to the end of his fight and we are getting a lot of questions about how people can help. At this time we are asking for contributions to allow the service he so much deserves. This time has been tough on our family financially and we are very thankful for everyone who has brought by personal supplies and food or sent any kind words and prayers. Anything helps and everything is appreciated. The funds raised will go straight to our family to help with services and helping with his siblings to adjusting to life after his transition. Funds will also help provide a beautiful headstone for him and family to be able to honor his life when visiting him. We thank everyone who has kept our family in your thoughts and prayers and have shared kind words it is a great feeling to see how loved tony is and how many people he has touched. Anthony will always be in our hearts and wanted his story to be shared to spread awareness. Awareness to encourage all who can to become an organ donor. Help save lives, Anthony was blessed with extra time on earth because the donation of a selfless individual named Ted Foster who shared his health with Tony. Be kind and help save a life, become an organ donor today. You never know what a blessing you could become for another family.
