Laptops for Schools

Donation protected

During the pandemic, we launched our Laptops for Schools scheme, supporting young people to continue their education from home. The public and our clients kindly donated their unwanted laptops to us and we refurbished and donated to schools.

Although we're back to in-classroom learning, there are still schools, charities and individuals out there that don't have access to laptops or PCs and we want to tackle digital exclusion and create more inclusive environments.

Any money you donate to us will go towards the refurbishments of the laptops or desktop PCs. This will include new Solid State Drives (SSDs), battery chargers, cosmetic repairs and more. Installing a new SSD takes minutes, whereas wiping the old drive to destroy the data can take hours. Plus, a shiny new SSD makes the laptop work faster for students - so a win win!

The cost of a SSD is about £20 and each new charger ranges from £15-£30. We've had many generous donations so far which have helped us send out over 300 refurbished laptops and PCs to our local community.

Thank you for your generosity.
