Thank you to the numerous donors who made it possible to appeal the Larimer County Commissioners’ decision to allow Coulson Excavating to mine gravel within feet of our homes. Your contributions were crucial and so very much appreciated.

We are so very pleased to announce that TAASQ have prevailed in court and the Board of Commissioners’ favorable decision on the Coulson’s application for the sand and gravel pit has been reversed. This is incredible news and a long and painful time in coming.

We couldn’t have prevailed without the incredible and tireless efforts of Ireland Stapleton.  This is a huge second win for them (Martin Marietta being the first) and we were really fortunate to have them on our side.  IS continued to work diligently on our behalf even after the monies dried up.

While this decision was huge for us, we’re sure appeals will take place on the part of the Board of County Commissioners and Coulsons.  But that process will not happen overnight and has essentially stayed the pit for likely a year or more.

We all benefited in enormous ways (property values, health, traffic, etc.) from this decision.  Let’s show Ireland Stapleton our appreciation by working hard to show our gratitude for their efforts and get them paid.  We owe them a great deal.

Thank you you for your donation.
