Tabatha the Magical Calico

Once upon a time, a chance encounter brought my long-time friend Christine together with a magical creature, discovered off a beaten path with no one or anything around for miles. Tabatha (as she would come to be named) was malnourished, dehydrated, a bit disabled and appeared to be in distress. She was brought home, cleaned up, and taken to a veterinarian. She turned out to be a senior girl who needed a bit of love and nurturing to be brought back to life.

It came to be that Christine and Tabatha chose one another wholeheartedly and have now lived together for several years. If Christine had wished upon a star for the perfect roommate, Tabatha is the closest to it she could ever have imagined!

Tabatha has had some ongoing issues as a senior but is well-pampered by Christine. Recently, though, she has had some new symptoms that require additional care. This has been unexpectedly expensive and Christine finds herself having to limit the care that Tabatha needs the most due to cost.

We all know how expensive life has become in recent years and it is by no means easy for my friend to ask for this help, and so I am doing it for her. Sometimes we need a helping hand despite how hard we work.

This is one of those times.

I am humbly asking in the spirit of the holiday season if you would consider donating a small amount to help make things a little brighter for Tabatha and Christine. Even $5.00 would be graciously accepted.

The vet has recommended having X-rays and other tests completed to investigate and hopefully rule out unseen deleterious issues. All funds raised will go to cover the vet costs required to help support Tabatha's health and well-being.
