Tabernacle School Appeal

An appeal for support to overcome financial difficulties and safeguard the future of promising young learners.

Dear Esteemed Benefactor,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Derrick Wilson, and alongside my wife, Paulette Wilson, we are founders of Tabernacle School, a unique and nurturing Christian institution dedicated to supporting the growth and development of children from all walks of life.

For the past 25 years, we have tirelessly worked to create a haven where children can thrive, grow, and reach their full potential. However, we find ourselves facing an unforeseen challenge that puts the future of Tabernacle School at risk. Due to financial difficulties, we are regrettably forced to close the school on July 14, 2023.

This decision weighs heavily on our hearts. We started this journey a quarter of a century ago out of a deep concern for their future, and now, we find ourselves in desperate need of support to overcome our current financial burden and revive the work we began.

Our financial difficulties have accumulated to a significant amount that we must address to regain our footing and continue serving the community. We appeal to you today, humbly requesting your generous assistance in helping us raise the funds needed to overcome this financial hurdle. By doing so, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the future of promising young learners from all backgrounds, while

upholding the values of our Christian school.

We seek to raise the necessary funds to clear our outstanding debts, cover operational expenses, and re-establish the valuable work we started 25 years ago. Your support will allow us to create an environment where children can receive the education and nurturing they need, grounded in Christian principles, regardless of their background. We firmly believe in providing a space where children can develop holistically, spiritually, and academically.

We understand that these are challenging times, and many worthy causes are vying for your attention. Nevertheless, we firmly believe that even the smallest acts of generosity can have a profound impact, setting in motion positive change that extends far beyond what meets the eye. The investment you make today, no matter its size, will be an investment in shaping the future of our community and ensuring brighter prospects for our children.
