Tabitha Baker's Lung Transplant Fund
Donation protected
In 2018, Tabitha received the life-changing diagnosis of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. PAH is a rare lung disease causing elevated pressure within the lungs. It is deadly, and the only hope for patients with this disease is a double lung transplant. Over the past four years, this disease has ravaged her body, affecting her heart, liver, and lungs. Because of this, Tabitha has been recommended to be listed for transplant on the national registry.
Because her case is so complicated, Tabitha has had to travel to neighboring states to seek treatment. Tabitha's family has had to move to Texas for a period of about 3-6 months while she waits for a transplant. Then after the transplant, she will have to remain in Texas for approximately 12 more months for close monitoring of the transplant as well as the other organs that have been affected. Because of this, she needs to raise money for the extra expenses her family will incur, such as rent, utilities, and medical bills.
Tabitha is 38 years old. She is a wife, mother, Jesus follower, teacher, and friend. Please consider helping her family during this time of change, and if you can't, pray for them and share this Gofundme.
