Table Tennis Academy for kids in Chisinau

Liebe Freunde,

Mein Name ist Sofia Polcanova. Ich bin in Chisinau, der Hauptstadt Moldawiens geboren. Im Alter von 6 Jahren habe ich mit Tischtennis angefangen und schon bald wurde dieser Sport zu meiner ganz großen Leidenschaft. Mit 14 Jahren bin ich nach Österreich gezogen, um meinen Traum zu verfolgen.
Vor Kurzem habe ich beschlossen die Stadt, in der ich geboren bin, zu besuchen. Ich war sehr schockiert, als ich herausfand, dass es dort noch immer keine passende Tischtennishalle gibt. Menschen, die Tischtennis lieben, sind gezwungen ins Ausland zu gehen, um dort Karriere zu machen. Kinder haben keine Möglichkeit ihr Talent zu zeigen, weil es kein System und keine guten Trainingsbedingungen gibt.
Nach langer Überlegung habe ich mich, gemeinsam mit ein paar anderen Tischtennis-Begeisterten, entschieden, diese traurige Situation in Moldawien zu verbessern. Wir wollen allen moldawischen Tischtennisfans die Möglichkeit geben, unter guten Bedingungen zu trainieren. Wir wollen den Kindern helfen, ihre Ziele und Träume zu erreichen.

Unser Ziel ist, eine Akademie aufzubauen, in der man professionell arbeiten kann.
Wir haben schon eine Halle gefunden, die ideal für Tischtennistraining ist. Diese Halle ist 500m2 groß und braucht eine komplette Renovierung.

Folgende Arbeiten gehören noch gemacht:

1. Deckenrenovierung
2. Bodenrenovierung (Entsorgen der alten Holzblöcke und Installation des neuen Bodenbelags)
3. Wandbemalung
4. Renovierung der Garderoben
5. Neue Beleuchtung
6. Heizung und Klimaanlage
7. Tribüne für Zuschauer

Die Gesamtkosten betragen ca. 40000 Euro.

Es wird die erste Tischtennishalle in Chisinau sein, die Europäischen Standard entspricht. Viele Kinder und auch die Spieler der Nationalmannschaft werden die Chance haben, professionell zu trainieren. Außerdem wird die Möglichkeit bestehen, dort Turniere zu veranstalten und Vereine zu gründen, um Moldawien Konkurrenzfähig zu machen.

Bitte helft uns eine angemessene Trainingsumgebung für alle Tischtennisfans in Moldawien zu erschaffen!

Hello everybody!

My name is Sofia Polcanova. I was born in Chisinau, the capital city of Republic of Moldova. When I was 6 years old, I started to play table tennis and soon enough it became my passion. With the age of 14 (year 2008) I moved to Austria to pursue my dream and become a good international player.
Recently, I decided to visit the city where I was born and was deeply shocked to find out that passionate table tennis players of Chisinau still do not have a suitable table tennis hall. There are many talented players in Moldova, but most decide to move to other countries where there are playing opportunities that are not available in Chisinau.
A couple of table tennis enthusiasts and I have decided to help the future generations to pursue their goals and dreams. We want to provide children and grown-ups with a good training environment. We also want to populate table tennis in Moldova.

The goal is to build an academy, which will provide the players with good training, experienced coaches and all the possibilities to become a professional table tennis player.

We have already found a potential place for a table tennis hall, around 500m2, which needs a complete renovation.

What needs to be done:
1. Roof and ceiling renovation
2. Floor renovation (removal of old wooden planks and floor covering)
3. Wall and ceiling painting
4. Changing rooms renovation
5. Installation of lightning
6. Heating and cooling
7. Tribune for the spectators

The total costs are about 40000 Euros.

This place does not look good now, but we believe that once the renovation is done, it will be perfect!

It will be the first table tennis practice and competition hall in Chisinau, which will comply with European standards. Many talented children as well as national team members will have the possibility to practice and give their best. There will also be the opportunity to organize tournaments at the hall.

Меня зовут София Полканова. Я родилась в городе Кишиниве, в столице Республики Молдова. В 6 лет я начала заниматься настольным теннисом и вскоре это стало моей страстью. Когда мне было 14 лет, я решила переехать в Австрию чтобы осуществить свою мечту и добиться результатов в моем любимом виде спорта.
Недавно я решила посетить родину. Как же я была шокирована, когда узнала, что у людей, которые хотят профессионально заниматься настольным теннисом, нет подходящих условий для тренировок. В столице Молдовы до сих пор нет спортивного  зала по настольному теннису, который соответствует европейским стандартам. Многие хорошие игроки вынуждены уезжать за границу и искать там новые возможности, которых нет в Кишиневе.

После некоторых размышлений пара энтузиастов настольного тенниса и я в том числе решили помочь будущим поколениям осуществить их мечты и цели.

Мы хотим предоставить детям и взрослым возможность тренироваться по европейскому стандарту, в хороших условиях. Также мы хотим популяризировать настольный теннис в Молдове.
Мы хотим создать академию настольного тенниса, где будут проводиться тренировки на постоянной основе, с высококвалифицированными тренерами, опытными спарринг партнерами и в хороших условиях.

Мы уже нашли помещение, где необходимо сделать ремонт.

В ремонт входит:
1.      Восстановление крыши и потолка
2.      Установка пола
3.      Покраска стен и потолка
4.      Ремонт раздевалок
5.      Освещение
6.      Отопление и охлаждение
7.      Трибуна для зрителей

Это будет первый спортивный зал в столице, который будет соответствовать европейским стандартам. Многие дети, а также взрослые спортсмены и игроки национальной сборной смогут здесь тренироваться.
