Tadcaster Floods Clean Up Fund

Hello Wonderful people of Tadcaster and surrounding areas. I am writing this post hoping we can share some love and support to our town.

As you are all aware the recent flooding to hit our poor town again which has resulted in severe damage to our local businesses. This is very close to home for me as my family have a salon that sits right by the river. Unfortunately due to the floods back in 2015 this has now meant that the majority of the business in the town centre have any insurance so had to take the hit financially, not just loss of earnings but to restore the amazing businesses they have built.

I feel this is the time now where as a community we can step in and offer help and support that to those businesses that are suffering this terrible loss. I am setting up a go fund me page for all those effected with no insurance and hope that we can help soften blow in some way.

Please feel free to share this and get as many people involved as possible to make this time for all of our local businesses a little easier.

My aim is to try raise £5000…. Ambitious yes but the power of social media I’m sure we can do it!!
