Taddy's Cancer Treatment

This is my dad, Rizaldy "Taddy" Ramos! Unfortunately, he has been battling Stage 4 Bile Duct Cancer, also known as Cholangiocarcinoma for the past three and a half years. He was first diagnosed in August 2015, after a resection surgery to remove one lesion in his liver. The biopsy results detected that the lesion removed was in fact malignant. After 4 months, 4 new lesions grew and spread around his liver. Due to the locations of the tumours, the only treatment offered to him by his oncologist was chemotherapy. This treatment would at most, extend his life for 2 more years. After much thought, prayer, interviewing cancer survivors and seeking out advice by several health professionals, our family came to a consensus to decline the offered chemotherapy.

Moving forward, my dad made significant changes in his lifestyle, and worked alongside a naturopathic doctor to help control the growth of his tumour. In addition, he continues to receive several Intravenous (IV) treatments such as: Vitamin C, Ozone, and Glutathione.
 
It has been three and a half years since the diagnosis, and we are thankful to God each day for my dad’s life. We have decided to take a leap of faith and seek treatment from St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital in Guangzhou, China. The treatments my dad will be receiving are all minimally invasive, such as: Interventional Therapy, Microwave Ablation, and Immunotherapy. Tentatively, at the end of November, my dad, together with my mom will be flying to Guangzhou, China, for a 3-week session. We are raising money for his treatments, with the initial session alone costing a minimum of $30,000. The succeeding treatments to follow are currently undetermined. 

My family and I are very thankful firstly to God  for sustaining us each and every day.  Secondly,  we are grateful to every one of you who have supported us along the way! Thank you for your prayers, thank you for your support, and thank you for all your help! We are forever grateful for you all!
