Dear, Family and Friends,
First, let me Thank All of you for all of your support, trust and contribution you have made in the past to cover for funeral expenses. Know that your support is always greatly appreciated and brought solace to a grieving families.
Today I am not asking you to help me bury someone but to SAVE the life of an incredible Husband and an amazing Father of three Boys.
Let me Tell you a small history of a Man that we all love and respect in Philadelphia. I wish I could take you back from the first time I meet Tadele Feyissa 14 Years ago when he arrived from Ethiopia. Since I will need to write a book, I share with you what Tade have been doing the last 7 month.
Tadele is a member of his church, Hibret Mahber, President of the Taxi Association, Ethiopian Community and also serves in any capacity that an organization ask of him.
Tadele being a caring and loving Husband, He understood when his wife asked him she wants to go back to Ethiopia to take care of her mother that was ill. She told him it might take a long time and he understood and said he will do everything he can to take good care of the house and the three children. Tadele was the only one working since they came to America. The family lived a humble life and were extremely happy with what they have.
In the absence of his wife Tadele became not just the father of his children but also took the responsibilities of being a mother. Tadele washed their cloth, dropped and picked them up from school, cooked breakfast every morning and made dinner every night. His three young boys excelled in their studies with the guidance of their great father.
Tadele will go straight to work driving a Taxi right after drooping his children to school and then stop working once he picked all of them up. Tadele did all this without anyone helping him for 7 month, Yes thats 7 Month. He worked part time and tried to pay for his mortgage, food, for the taxi, gas, electric, tax, water and other expenses.
This continues running around for his community and especially for his family without any rest and the stress of providing for his family unknowingly was taking a toll on Tadele’s body. To his and the children excitement Tadele’s wife arrived back to America on February 25th 2017. Tadele and the children were so excited they rented a hotel to be with Mom and also to let Tadele rest so he doest have to drive back from Washington DC to Philadelphia.
It took only Two Days for the excitement to come to an end. on February 27th, two days after his wife came home after 7 month, the loving husband and the amazing father of three sons went to work to start providing for his family. His wife waited for him with dinner ready and she taught he wanted to work late since he hasn’t work for a while. She went to bed expecting he will return home safely. Tadele never came home that night and we had no choice to report him missing.
Tadele a husband and a father of three was no where to be found. His friends came together and started to search for him staring on Tuesday. We all prayed and designated areas to search in the Philadelphia area.
All of our prayers got answered after three days, when we received a call from the hospital after seeing the missing person report. Tadele was in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with bleeding in the brain and multiple fractures in the scull. The Doctors believe that a vain in his brain leaked blood due to pressure, stress and not resting enough. As of today Tadele is still in the Hospital with high level of care to regain all of his functions. In the next few days Tadele will be discarged from the hospital to a Rehabilitation hospital for him to lean how to do the things that came naturally to him before.
I am Begging all of you to extend your prayers to Tadele and his family. Tadele does not have health insurance and since he was the only one working to provide for his family. I can not emphasize enough how much your donation is needed for this amazing family. Please help to save a life and a family stay together.
May God keep you and your family safe.
Thank you so much for your donation and for sharing this information.
