Tadeo Family - Maui Wildfire Relief

Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Christina Tadeo and I am starting this on behalf of my family.

Our family home, where me and my sisters played and grew up, along with everything there was burned from the Lahaina wildfire.

Our household included: my grandparents Ernesto Tadeo Sr. and Clarita Tadeo, my father Christopher Tadeo, and uncles Ernesto Tadeo Jr. aka Papa Stong/Jr. and Reymond Tadeo.

If there was any way to describe my uncles and father, it would be hardworking and caring. When someone is in need, my uncles would always be there to lend a hand. If you know Reymond, he would always help out someone on a paddle board up in Napili bay or in our garage with a car or golf cart. If you needed help with electrical stuff, like resetting the timer on a water heater, Papa Stong/Jr. would be there. My father would also work multiple cooking jobs to support me and my siblings. Many would say that’s where Chassidy, my youngest sister, got her culinary inspiration.

My siblings and I loved this house. Everyday after school, it would be the “go to” spot. My uncles showed us tremendous love and support like we were one of their own. My father and uncles just bought this house a few years back, but had always lived in Pupu Pl. Pupu Place is where me and my siblings grew up. It was where we brought our dogs home for the first time and returned their ashes to.

If you are willing, we will take anything. If you would like to reach me personally, please reach out. Funds from this page will help my family buy and gather necessities and maybe serve as the first stepping stone for a new beginning.

Luckily everyone is safe and made it out. My father, uncles, and grandma are all currently in Kihei at the moment. My grandfather is and will be in the Philippines for the time being.

Thank you Lord and everyone for everybody’s safety and hope we all continue to look after each other.

**Update 03/38/24

Mahalo to everyone who has donated, my father, uncles, grandma, and youngest sister are currently situated in a home in Kihei. Funds now will be used to purchase food, clothes (for each other), and furniture for their current housing placement. They are still paying mortgage for the home that was lost in the fire, so money has been used to help pay that as well. Again, mahalo nui everyone for donating! Please continue to share and donate if you are able. Have a blessed day.
