TAFE Student Scholarship

Donita Garza was the State Program Director for the Texas Association of Future Educators.

If anyone knew her, her passion was education and preparing the next generation of teachers. Her passion as a teacher in the classroom teaching the Education & Training pathway, being a teacher leader in TAFE then became the state director for TAFE was immeasureable. She did everything she could to help out students and teachers a like. She was a kind soul that was joyful to be around. She had a way of making you feel like a million bucks! She never knew a stranger and her smile could light up a room.

TAFE was near and dear to her heart and she strived to get more scholarships for students. This is one thing she was always working on year after year. The family is asking in lieu of flowers, donate here to help a future TAFE student with a scholarship to help them pursue education in college. This scholarship will be presented to the student at the Teach Tomorrow Summit in March.
