Tai McBride wrestling fund

My name is Tai McBride and I’m an 11 year old girl from Jackson, WY. I have been wrestling for 5 years and have big dreams of someday wrestling in college, at the international level and of course, the ultimate goal; to be a member of Team USA at the Olympics! 

In order to pursue these dreams, I need to keep competing in national tournaments and train with an elite wrestling academy in California and Colorado to improve my skills to compete at the highest level. 

Your support will help to pay for my traveling expenses  registration costs and the coaching needed to get me to the top! 

The next  3 big tournaments I want to compete in this season are:
-Western  Regionals: Las Vegas, NV
-Girls Freestyle Nationals: Irving, TX
-Western States championships: Pocatello, ID

My most recent major results this season include;
-4th place @ Rocky Mtn Nationals Las Vegas
-3rd place @ Rocky Mtn Nationals in Denver
-2nd place @ SLC Slam Regional Tournament
-2nd place @ US Marine Corps Girls Folkstyle Nationals in Oklahoma City
-1st place in both BOYS  and GIRLS  divisions at the Wyoming State Wrestling Tournament!

Last year, I also  traveled to Japan with Team Wyoming where I competed In my first international tournament and took  2nd Place at the Chippon Open.

When I’m not in the wrestling room, I am a gymnast with the Axis Gymnastics Team here in Jackson. This Spring at the Wyoming State Gymnastics meet, I took second place overall, qualifying me for Regionals!

Academically, I am an A  student and work hard on balancing my schoolwork and athletics. I also enjoy skiing and camping  with my family and spending time with  my friends.
