Tai Woodson

Hi my name is Khiri Williams, I am the brother of Tai Woodson, better known as Tai or Tai Boogie. Laughter is the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Tai, his infectious jokes, and silly demeanor could make even the saddest person burst out in laughter. He had a keen passion for music, blessed with a soulful singing voice and even followed through on his passion in pursuing a career in music under the name Taison Woo. Basketball was another first love from youth inspired by the talents of the late Kobe Bryant. He played basketball for the Riverhead Blue Waves making and starring on the team since freshman year in high school dazzling the crowd with slam dunks. He was a popular student in Riverhead and throughout Long Island graduating in 2008 with his diploma. Tai attended college at SUNY Westbury with a major in criminal justice. His later endeavors included truck driving, security, music, and being a loving father. He leaves behind his wife Lauren, a 1-Year old son named Taj, his mother Adrienne, father John, sister Autumn, niece Sophia and brother myself Khiri or Bubba as he would call me. He also leaves behind loved family such as his uncle Bundy, grandmother Linda, close friends Shane, Andrew, and countless, countless other friends he had an impact on.

This Go Fund Me is to help raise money for Tai’s memorial arrangements and to help his wife Lauren Woodson and baby boy Taj Woodson with whatever they are in need of at this time of tragedy. Any thing you are able to contribute will be deeply appreciated and help the family.
