Tail Lights Rescue Project - Fundraising for 2024
Donation protected
Tail Lights Rescue Project rescues dogs at risk of euthanasia in an overcrowded, open-intake shelter in Northwest Louisiana. We work closely with our rescue partners to choose friendly dogs that are good candidates for our transport, their rescue, and their fosters. After pulling dogs from the shelter, we provide them with any medical care they may need before transport, we make sure they're up to date on vaccines and we get them health certificates. We then hit the road back to Seattle, WA (where we are based)! The drive takes us around four days. When we arrive in Seattle, we do intake with our rescue partners. The majority of our dogs go straight into foster homes. After decompressing from the shelter and transport, the dogs become available for adoption.
Since June 2021, we’ve rescued around 200 at-risk dogs. We rely solely on donations from the public to do this work! All donations go directly towards helping us cover the cost of gas, veterinary care, supplies (collars, leashes, crates, food, cleaning supplies, etc), and vehicle maintenance.
Thank you for your continued support!
