Take "Telepathic Moon Dance" to the next level

My name is Walker Adams and I’m a drummer and composer somewhat known for my work with St. Vincent, bassist Percy Jones, and the bands Miggs and The Ludlow Thieves. My original band Telepathic Moon Dance has grown a fanbase in the NYC area and we’re ready to go to the next level.

Our intricate instrumental music combines jazz-fusion with funk and dance for a sound akin to Herbie Hancock, Lettuce, and Snarky Puppy.

We will record a full-length album and have it professionally mixed and mastered. We will request cameos from famous musicians we know to bring attention to the project. We will hire a graphic artist to create an animated music video for the entire album (see storyline below).

The video will also accompany our live show; projected as background visuals. An AI component will bring concert-goers into the creative process by allowing them to submit words or images to be incorporated into the visuals for that particular performance.

Storyline for the music video:

Light reflects on the surface of wind-swept water; eventually giving way to floral patterns of leaves and trees. You arrive in a rainforest and walk until you find an ancient ruin. You enter the structure and move through halls adorned with art from a lost civilization. In the inner chamber you discover a portal which transports you to the center of the galaxy, where you drift through beautiful and bizarre solar systems. The perspective zooms out to reveal the solar systems as atoms, then molecules, then eventually a human form; vastly complex yet perfectly singular.

This space-human-spirit becomes aware of it's solitude and longs for love and connection. A portal appears to offer the spirit an incarnation on earth and they are born as a baby fish in a mountain stream. Happy and serene, the fish must continuously swim to stay in familiar territory. Eventually their curiosity overrides their fear of the unknown and they surrender their effort and allow the current to take them downstream. Along their fantastic voyage to the sea they encounter many wonderful things.

Once at sea the fish witnesses a school of fish performing a beautiful dance. The fish is accepted into the school and time goes by until the fish approaches death and the portal once again appears. Returning to their space-human-spirit form at the center of the galaxy, other spirits emerge from the surrounding galaxies and fit together in a cosmic spirit-mosaic.
