World Leadership Congress

This weekend (June 13 – 15) I had the amazing opportunity to attend the 2014 Northern California Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Seminar in Sacramento. This experience has changed my life and tremendously enhanced my leadership skills and my confidence. Because I have attended HOBY I am now eligible to join other high school sophomores from all around the world at the World Leadership Congress (WLC) in Chicago from July 19-26. The WLC is a seminar that motivates teenagers to change their community for the better. Attending the WLC would allow me to further develop my leadership skills and to create local programs that can benefit others near and far. It is designed to allow students to discover their own personal leadership potential while becoming responsible and responsive global citizens. After going through the program I should leave inspired, motivated and feeling that I can articulate and accomplish my ideas. Please help me achieve my goal so that I can make my community a better place.
