Taken prematurely.

This morning, I woke up with noticeable eye bags caused by a combination of sleep deprivation and constant crying. Unfortunately, my younger cousin, aged 22, who recently became a parent, tragically lost his life to senseless gun violence in the Bronx. He leaves behind a two-year-old daughter, adding to the heartbreak. My cousin Miguel Molina Rodriguez was shot twice in the chest and succumbed to his injuries while being transported to the hospital. The news of his untimely death was delivered with heart-wrenching screams from my devastated aunt. My cousin, much like me when I was younger, always strived to help his family despite coming from a disadvantaged and challenging neighborhood. He had a strong desire to create a better life for himself and his loved ones. In our last conversation, he expressed his determination to follow my guidance and pursue a career as a sheet metal worker, aspiring to join me in the middle class through my local union. Sadly, I will never have the chance to work side by side with him and assist in his upliftment. If you could kindly consider making a small donation, it would mean the world to me.
