Hello, my name is Diettra Pearl, I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my sister, Octavia Chess.

We never thought in a million years this Valentine's Day would be a day of pain and loss, as our sweet Tevis Chess was taken from us by an act of evil. Tevis was my sister's only child, who was tragically murdered.

Tevis leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, father, his two young daughters, his siblings, and a host of family and friends. At the time of his death, Tevis did not have life insurance so now our family is faced with planning and covering the cost of a funeral while also dealing with our grief.

Any funds received will be used to cover the costs associated with his homegoing.
