Taking my mothers body back to India

Hi

my name is Manish and I am from Haryana (India). I have my Mrs and two kids under 3 years old living in Sydney.

We travelled overseas and brought my mother Urmla Devi back to sydney hoping her long ailment might get better on 20th April 2025 (the Sunday) as she couldn’t travel alone. But on the 3rd night around 12am she suffered from a heart attack, paramedics couldn’t revive her and declared dead on the scene.

Now just after recent visit we are struggling to take her body back to India to give her rightful Hindu Funeral. So I urge all near and dears, community members who could care enough to help me raise this money so we could send her with proper goodbye among her family. I am only one here that she can call family. Even a tiny contribution will go a long way, please help.

update in regards to mum

Department of Forensic medicine has determine the cause of death being Cardiac Arest along with contributing factors of hypertension and chronic kidney disease.

since they are satisfied it’s not suspicious they will be realising mum to funeral home, where over weekend she will be embalmed for her journey home so she stays in best possible condition. And; also prepare for the necessary documentation that got to be done. Due to long weekend the process will take a little longer but with help and guidance from good friends it’s possible we all leave for India sometime next week.
