Taking our boy home
Donation protected
On the 17th of February our beloved son, grandson, brother and nephew Joshua Thatcher tragically passed away in a terrible car accident.
Joshua was a well known, loved member of the Mount Isa community and a friend to many.
At the young age of 17, Joshua’s sudden and unexpected passing has left our family absolutely devastated, all while trying to work out the logistics to take him home.
We have been advised it is going to cost an estimated $30,000 to take him from Mount Isa through to Auckland. It will be another $5,000 - $10,000 to get him home to Gisborne, his final resting place.
This page has been created in hopes to try help ease the financial burden while we navigate through this overwhelming loss.
A way of receiving koha/donations to go toward the cost of taking our boy home.
All funds will be going directly to Joshua’s father Shannon, step mother Kaelem and two little sisters, Ariel and Kleopatra
