Talaluk”TK”Katchatag’s Final Send-Off

My name is AyyuSue Katchatag. I am the oldest sister of Talaluk Driskill LaRoi Katchatag, 34. Talaluk tragically lost his life on the 6th of February, 2025, along with 9 others, in a bush plane crash, 34 miles southeast of Nome.

Talaluk, known as TK by many, was such a soft spoken, wise beyond his years, very strong man. Not only strong in stature, but in mind, and spirit. His soul was genuine, and he lived life so matter of factly. TK loved his family, his children, his parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers, and friends.

We live in bush Alaska and it costs a lot to do anything here.

This will help with whatever funeral costs arise. Plane tickets, food, lodging, gas for transportation.

Our family would like to thank you all for coming together to help us in this time of need. Our villages are small, but our region is huge, and our love for our people is magnanimous.
