Talan’s Journey

As many of you know, my 9 year old nephew, Talan was recently diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma (bone cancer) in his right arm. I am hoping to raise money to help my sister, Meredith (Talan’s mom) pay for medical bills, travel expenses and assist with her personal bills while she navigates this journey as a single mom of two little boys. My sister is a nurse and has always worked full time, helping others in any way she can. She would never ask for help if she didn’t need it as she is always the one doing so much for everyone else. However, during this time, when she is giving everything she has to Talan and is unable to work full time, I want to help her. Please donate if you can to help Meredith have some sense of financial security while she fights for her child and is facing every mama’s worst nightmare. Talan’s treatments are at UNC Children’s Hospital and will span over a time frame of a year or more. They consist of inpatient stays and outpatient visits, all of which are a huge financial burden. It is my hope that we can raise enough money to give her peace of mind while she takes care of her baby boy.
