Honoring the life of Talitha

My sister, Talitha Kumai McEachin, passed away suddenly the morning of December 17th 2023. In the days leading up to her death, she was in great spirits and extremely excited about her future including a new job she was to start in a few days and finishing her degrees this coming year. She was looking forward to Christmas and buying her nephew, Isaac, many gifts. In all honesty, Talitha lived a life of many trials, most of which she endured and struggled through silently. And despite some of the cards life dealt her, she was brilliant, generous, passionate, vibrant and hilarious in a way the most people aren’t. She loved fiercely and spoke up for what she felt was right. She would give of herself to everyone around her without hesitation. She was a phenomenal writer/author. She loved politics, music, science fiction, true crime stories, and she loved her family and friends. She lived a full and eventful life. It is hard to believe that she is gone, but her memory lives on in our hearts.

May the God of the Bible be praised for her life as it was purposed for His glory! Grace and peace to everyone who reads this. Please remember to hug and love on your loved ones this holiday season.

She leaves behind her mother Carolyn, her younger brother Lance, her younger sister Joy, he brother-in-law Shaun, and her sweet nephew Isaac. We do desperately need the funds to lay her to rest properly. We will also be holding a memorial service in her honor after the holidays. The date is TBD but will be updated here shortly.
