Taliyah's Family Needs Your Help Now

Hello, my name is Taliyah & I’m currently experiencing a financial hardship in my life right now.

I’m undergoing the process of eviction & my leasing office is willing to work with me to receive the funds. Back in January, I became very sick & I was unable to go to work & unfortunately lost my job a week after returning. Shortly after that, my car got repossessed & I was unable to have transportation. My Fiancé lost his new job as well because of no reliable transportation. I have two little ones, a 7-year-old & a 5-year-old, so it’s been hard getting them to & from school. I was able to cover February & March rent because, by the grace of God, I received my taxes after I got fired. I tried doing Flex for this month, which helps pay your rent in partial payments (you partially pay Flex & they pay the apartments in full), but for some reason, I don’t know why, they took my money & sent it back to me. I told the office manager what happened in hope I could work something out & they told me they no longer do promise to pays anymore.

I don’t start my new job until May 16, & My Fiancé doesn’t start his new job until May 30th which is pretty far away. I was asking for help to help cover April & May's rent until I start my job & would be able to take care of June when I get back on my feet. I go to court on April 27th for my eviction & was hoping to ask the judge for an extension while I try to make ends meet. Anything helps; I’m grateful for anything. I’m holding onto what I do have, hoping something comes through. A little from a lot of people goes a long way. I am ashamed that I had to do this, but I would do it again if it means my kids have a roof over their heads.
