Tally Cat Café Coming 2018

Coming Next Year: Tally Cat Café in Tallahassee, Florida.
We are planning to open a cat café in Tallahassee, Florida in 2018, though with your help, we could speed up our process.
We have teamed up with Leon County Humane Society on bringing the first cat café to Tallahassee. The idea of a cat café is simple. You will come in, order your favorite coffee, tea, or lemonade, and you can either sit in our cat-free seating area and enjoy watching the cats play in their separate playroom, or pay a small fee to reserve an hour of time inside the cat room to interact with the cats.
Cat cafés, first finding popularity in Japan, have been popping up all over the US since 2012, even opening in major cities including NYC and Seattle. Many of these locations have reported great success including hundreds of adoptions. Florida alone has cat cafés in several popular cities such as Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami, and Tampa. We firmly believe that with the increasing approval and popularity in the US, now is the time to introduce Tallahassee to its first cat café.
Our main goal is to provide the cats from LCHS more exposure and increase adoptions. We aspire to create a happy, safe, and fun space for the cats in their temporary home while also providing our customers a great way to relax, drink delicious coffee, and let some purring cats melt your stress away.
Any funds raised by our amazing friends, family, and community will be greatly appreciated and will go a long way, but mostly we want to spread the word and let everyone know Tally Cat Café is on the way.
Thank you for reading, and even if you are unable to donate, we look forward to having you visit after we open. If you have any questions, please visit our website at www.TallyCatCafe.com or message us on Facebook .
