Tamelio ( Tammy ) walk again.

Hello friends, my name is Tamelio ( Tammy ) and I am asking for your help to purchase items I need that will assist me in my efforts to walk again. I’m March of this year I was admitted to a Nursing Facility after suffering with a heart attack . Prior to this unfortunate incident , five toes were amputated from my left foot due to Arterial Peripheral Neuropathy. Two toes on my right foot will be removed as soon as I am able to support my weight with the other foot. At this point I am grounded here until I have equipment to enable me to progress with this task of learning to walk balanced and confident of not falling. Last week my surgeon cleared me to put weight on both feet and because I have been successful with my stand up walker gave the okay to use a Rollator. I have to purchase it because it is not covered by insurance. I also need a sturdy pair of shoes that will fit appropriately, measured to fit for safe walking . Because of the shape of the left foot this will require special fitting . I currently am covered for housing in the nursing home but have no income at all. My disability filed June 2021 after being denied following my filing in November 2020 is now in appeal pending a decision. This leaves me penniless . I am grateful for the care that I have here however I am independent 100%. I am able to care for myself even though I am in a wheelchair but I believe I will walk again and move forward continuing my life outside of this facility. It will be a challenge finding housing , paying deposits , and starting again alone , but the first priority now is to walk again safely. I cannot do this successfully without this equipment. I cannot purchase this equipment without your help. This Rollator will be a tool that I will use for a long time most likely as well as the boots. Currently I have no shoes , I wear socks . Any amount that will help meet my goal , no matter how small will be appreciated. I am grateful for my friends and please continue to pray for my healing. I am so blessed to be alive and able to reach for this goal of walking with both feet after the pain and suffering I’ve overcome this far. It’s difficult for me to ask for help but it humbles me that I have kept the faith and confidence to do it after living in a Nursing Home for the past six months. ALL MY LOVE,
