Tameside Hospital - Stroke Ward 45

Tameside Hospital (Ladysmith Building) Stroke Ward 45 would like to fund raise for an extra Arjo Sara Stedy. There is 24 bed’s on the ward with only 1 Arjo Sara Stedy. The Arjo Sara Stedy is used for the patients to have easier access to the toilet with dignity and to reduce accidents when patients are immobile.

This also means a lot to me as my husband suffered from a stroke earlier this year and this is a vital piece of equipment in his rehabilitation.

This would be a huge help to the staff on the ward and the patients. The importance of having a little bit of normality when recovering from a stroke is so important.
