Tammi Harrison Medical Journey

Tammi originally went to the hospital because her potassium was high due to dialysis but while she was hospitalized her bowels twisted and started dying so she had to have emergency surgery to have a bowel reception. A small bowel reception that is they took out 2/3 of her small bowel and had to stay in ICU for about 2 weeks maybe a little bit longer than that. She was transferred to a Acute Care Facility because she wasn't medically healthy enough to be discharged and had to spend additional 3 weeks. The facility is trying to get her well enough to go to in house rehab. To help with her finances that have grown since this journey. Shealso has more health issues now she has short gut syndrome ans will possibly I will be on different stuff from now on quite possibly will have to go home with a central line to receive extra nutrition through it for a while and all of this is on top of dialysis Anything will be greatly appreciated!
